Rainbow Mentality

Hey guys, i love this blogskin and I think it means alot to us:D When was the first mention of a rainbow in the bible?

If you have guessed it right, it is after noah's flood. What did God say to Noah? You can read in Genesis 9:11

Genesis 9:11 (New King James Version)

11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; 15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Notice, the highlighted portions. The rainbow was not a decorative item on the earth but it symbolises something precious. Flood in the bible means judgement. And when He sees the rainbow he will remember is covenant(promise) to you, which is never to flood the earth, you know what it means for us?

It means that the rainbow symbolises, no more judgement no more anger from God. He is well-pleased with you. Just like what He said openly from the heavens, after Jesus was baptised by John the baptist, he said, "This is my Beloved Son, In whom I am well-pleased" :D

And having a rainbow mentality means that u keep this is your mind. Having the consciousness of no more judgement from God and You are well pleasing in His eyes. You are the apple of His eyes:D

And to the question in the picture: Yes there will always be a rainbow after a rain. :D
