Hey people,i'm holding a chalet on the 30th,31st dec and 1st jan.my parents said that you guys can come over on the 31 to like celebrate the late christmas and new year's eve?if able,you guys can stay over night and we'll have a PJ Party!!my parents already agreed that we can take the entire living room to ourselves while they sleep upstairs.we'll stay till the 1st jan whereby we have to check out at 10.00am.which also means your parents can come about 9.00 to 10.00 to pick you guys up.because in the country club there are no buses available,you'll have to either take a cab there or get your parents to fetch you there and back.the country club is called NSRCC.National Service somethingsomething Country Club.near Tanah Merah Country Club.about just before the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.any queries,you can contact me at 93278677.

Rainbow Mentality

Hey guys, i love this blogskin and I think it means alot to us:D When was the first mention of a rainbow in the bible?

If you have guessed it right, it is after noah's flood. What did God say to Noah? You can read in Genesis 9:11

Genesis 9:11 (New King James Version)

11 Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; 15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

Notice, the highlighted portions. The rainbow was not a decorative item on the earth but it symbolises something precious. Flood in the bible means judgement. And when He sees the rainbow he will remember is covenant(promise) to you, which is never to flood the earth, you know what it means for us?

It means that the rainbow symbolises, no more judgement no more anger from God. He is well-pleased with you. Just like what He said openly from the heavens, after Jesus was baptised by John the baptist, he said, "This is my Beloved Son, In whom I am well-pleased" :D

And having a rainbow mentality means that u keep this is your mind. Having the consciousness of no more judgement from God and You are well pleasing in His eyes. You are the apple of His eyes:D

And to the question in the picture: Yes there will always be a rainbow after a rain. :D

Wence, sorry. I cant draw/copy & paste a tally table here to draw/edit th votes for th blogskins. So this is th best i can do to show th tally & votes for th blogskins. If there's any one else who's voting, then just add a 'L' (small letter) to th skin number.

Eg. Skins 3, 4 and 5 has 2 votes each. So if any one else votes for either of th skins, add a 'L' in small caps beside th votes before can already. hello hello people. i need your responses for dg outing! the proposed date on thurday, 4 dec is most likely not confirmed cause malcolm doesn't have a whole day off. so we are now looking at saturdays which we do not have dare. its either next saturday, 29 nov, or someday in the week.
please please please tell us which day ur available.

we want to make this outing applicable to everyone. can contact me or racia if u have anything to clarify. the thing is @ pasiris park where we can cycle and picnic or escape theme park. or we can do both together in a day provided you can have the whole day off for dg outing.

The Lord Is You, And You Are Successful Man/Woman

Hey dudes, this is the DG msg that was being shared during Daregroup, and this is very important for you especially during this time as you prepare for your exams and take your examinations.

Scripture Verse

Genesis 39:1-23 (Please Read through Genesis 39-41 to understand the story of Joseph)

1)Despite our challenges, the Lord is with you and you are a successful man.

Joseph went down to Egypt. (V1)
Sometimes, we feel that we like Joseph, seem to be going down to Egypt, instead of up to our promised land. Maybe some of us are poor in certain subjects and our results just seem to be going downhill.
The Lord was with Joseph, and he (though a slave) was a successful man. (V2)
Applying to yourself, the Lord is with you and you are a successful man.
Despite all your poor subjects,failures,mistakes,shortcomings you are a sucessful man/women because the Lord is with you.

Have a consciousness that God’s presence makes the work of our hands successful.

+ Consiousness??- Being Aware of His Presense.

· The Lord was with him and the Lord made all he did to prosper, (to be a success) in his hand. (V3,23)

The Lord was with Joseph and made him successful even though he was a slave.
Perhaps some of us feel like slaves to Chinese, or to Science, but that does not mean that you are a failure.
The Word declares that despite your failures, you ARE a successful man, simply because the Lord is with you.
Having the consciousness of the ‘Lord with us, making us and what we do, a success’ causes us to rise above our failures/slavery (Joseph was made overseer of Potiphar’s house V5)

2) Joseph’s secret to being faithful doing what was in his hands - he was conscious of the Lord’s presence prospering his work.

Background: Joseph, despite experiencing defeat(going down to egypt and being thrown in Jail, he was faithful with what he was doing and he became the best in wherever he is at because the Lord was with him.

What are we conscious of today? Of defeat or of God’s presence prospering our work/studies?
Faithful: Not just dedicated or committed but being full of faith in God.
(In this instance, that His presence makes us successful)
When we are conscious of this truth, our natural response is to work on our struggles (subjects we can’t do well in), being full of faith that His presence turns them in victories.

Joseph was 1^st a slave and was later thrown in jail (things didn’t improve immediately) but he was still conscious of the Lord being with him to prosper all he did, he continued being faithful in his doing (V22-23).
Pharaoh eventually praised Joseph saying there is no one as discerning and as wise as him. (Genesis 41:39)
Having this revelation removes the stress and the burden from studying. Our part is to be faithful with our studies, God’s part is to prosper it.

John 2:1-10

3) Jesus can and will accelerate our studies! Whatever takes a long time in the natural, God can supernaturally achieve more in a much faster time.

Jesus turned water into best wine.
Best wines usually need an average aging time of 7-10 ys.
This is a 2 fold miracle:

1. Turning of water into wine

2. Compressing time (acceleration) to produce in an instance what would naturally take 7-9 yrs.

Maybe you feel the exams are nearing and it is too late for you to start working on your challenging subject but Jesus is able to turn your water (challenging subjects) into wine (success) with the little time that you have left.
It is never too late to start now. Jesus can and Jesus will bring about acceleration as you start to work on your failures now! Remembers, he prospers the work of your hands.

Alrights , start the post with dare choir auditions today
Went to Noel Coperate Building with sherlyn ,
was nervous , wanted to back out .
Anyway , the experience was horrible ! /:
It was too terrifying . -.-
The audition room roooocks okay , but i think we screwed up the whole audition . :X
Told 'cha we were too nervous );
Ahhh , but anyways , by God's grace , i believe i will pass the auditions !
I dun noe about sherlyn , looks like she prefers RSM more -.-
